holding "Calculator" window position

Asked by Bob on 2010-11-01

I wish to force the "Calculator" window to remain and open in the lower right position of my display. Is there a way to cause this to happen?

Calculator actually follows window position settings which are made in window manager.
When moving calculator window to lower right position and closing it there it will reopen on the same position as before.

In addition to plugin 'Places', plugin 'Window Rules' has an option to force a window position (e.g. window is non movable)

I didn't know the protocol; but all of your assistance was most help. Another reason I truly appreciate the Ubuntu (Linux) community.

Best to all
