gcalctool 5.32.0 can't resize.

Asked by Bob on 2010-10-24

I just noticed that the default calculator gcalctool 5.32.0 that comes with Ubuntu 10.10 can't be resized. Is this by design or is it a bug?

Thanks in advance. Bob.

The entry's fall out of sight if there are too many.

See attachment. (how do I add an attachment?)

Is this by design? If it is something is wrong.

Bob.

This does not seem like a problem?

You can't add attachments because this is not a bug report form.
Since there's a related bug report on this matter, I linked this question into it.

Where might I find this bug report?

Thanks, Bob.

@Bob: I see that you have found the bug report. To answer your last question for others (and to mark it as "Answered" instead of "Open"):

It is listed under "Related bugs" in this question. Here's a copy of the link to it:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcalctool/+bug/647466

@Bob: In Bug 647466, you asked if it is possible to downgrade Gcalctool in Maverick to version 5.28.2. That is possible, and doing so provides a workaround to this issue. I posted detailed instructions for doing so, as a comment to that bug report.

Can you help with this problem?
