Please update gatling in Ubuntu/Debian.

https://packages.ubuntu.com/artful/gatling
It is at 0.13-6 even on bionic, this is years outdated.

Upstream there is a 0.16 already.

There have been many bug fixes and enhancements since 0.13

I suggest you report a bug. If the version is no longer supported then it should be updated sooner rather than later.
