Gajim 1.2.2 on 20.04 - Is there any chance to see it?

Gajim is currently stuck on 1.1.3 on Ubuntu 20.04 (and thus Linux Mint 20)
Is there any chance to see Gajim 1.2.2 (or even 1.3 if available) on 20.04? If not, why?
Is there any other way to have Gajim 1.2.2 on 20.04 (despite Flatpak)?

Ubuntu is based on Buster Debian which is at gajim (1.1.2-2) GTK+-based Jabber client.
https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal/gajim
This will stay the packaging for Ubuntu until Debian changes their packaging version.
