Temporary Authentication Failure with gaim

I am using gaim version 2.0.0.beta6.
when i tried to log in gaim at that it send error message authentication failure.
i don't know whether it is from here or server.

So anybody have solution for this error then reply as soon as possible.

Could you be more specific about the account type and connection settings that you have used, and perhaps the exact error message?

Also, what do you mean by temporary.. ? Does this mean that it connects sometimes and not at other times?
