What are the effects of this "BIOS Boot ERROR"?
Where do you see this?
If it is an error of the BIOS, then this is not related to Ubuntu at all. The BIOS is provided together with the hardware and is independent of the operating system.

Remark: Why did you ask this question in the area for "gaim in Ubuntu"? gaim was the predecessor of the pidgin instant messenger program and is not available in Ubuntu any more. So that cannot be the correct target for your question.

The BIOS Boot error only happens when UBUNTU is booted up. I do not get an error message when I boo up Linux Mint and Windows. I believe it has something to do with the Motherboard screen display but no sure. This is the 2nd Motherboard with the same problem.

What exactly is the full text of the message?

Is it a "boot error" preventing that the system successfully boots, or is it a warning that occurs in some of the log files after the system has successfully booted?

It happens at the beginning and the OS boots up with no problem, My concern is why on 2 separate motherboards? I want to sell this Desktop PC and it wouldn’t look very good for a buyer to see that. Please refer to my previous posts on the boot error message. Could it be on my USB initial install that has carried over? A Power issue? Logo display?

Thanks for getting back to me.

Which "previous posts" are you talking of? Each question on Launchpad should be self-contained.
