(email address not verified)

Hi, I have a gmail account with a .net passport to use it as a hotmail account, but when I connect I cannot set a friendly name other than "<email address hidden> (email address not verified)" so I would like to know how to "verify" my email address or what I should do.

When signing up for your .NET passport, you should have received an e-mail informing you how to verify your e-mail address via a link. If this was not the case, you should contact Microsoft regarding the problem.

I did this and it was fixed within the day.

Just go to http://login.live.com/ and log in, then there's an option there to verify the email address.
