The upstream fwbuilder and Debian package have been updated

Please sync fwbuilder 3.0.5 from Debian

The 3.0.5 is long term release, possibly the last in the 3.0.x series as we actively work on the next major release of fwbuilder. It would be great if Ubuntu picked up this latest and the most stable version.

Oh! I'm wondering you're telling us that here on Launchpad. Maybe best is to discuss that matter in #ubuntu-motu or #ubuntu-dev on IRC. People there are available every so often.

Honestly some (even important) packets are outdated in the repos. Packporting works only partially too. I already got used to it and install important stuff by hand whenever demanded. ;-)

Unfortunately I do not have the powers to change the state of this question to SOLVED, EXPIRED or INVALID. Someone here at Launchpad either grant me that permission or simply apply the change in state to this question, please.
