When will you fix this package?

Asked by yman

Funguloids 1.06-8build1 doesn't work in Natty. There is no reason to think it will work in Ocelot. Why even bother include it if it is broken? Either fix it (and the bug reports already say enough on that), or remove it from Ubuntu, thus dropping the illusion that it is available when it is not.

Since Bug #770848 sets milestone to 'none' maybe ask there if it's considered to be removed.

According to changelog and
http://funguloids.sourceforge.net/
rather outdated and obviously missing a maintainer.

From what it says in the in 770848, that bug's milestone has been set to Oneiric alpha 3 in June, so it's not true that no milestone was set.
In 654604, which is the bug I linked to, and in the Funguloids website, there seem to be patches that will make the game work, but nobody bothered to apply them in the Ubuntu package.

From the responses I got to my question it seems the maintainers of the package don't know anything about the package that is under their care.

Sorry, I was wrong about bug 770848. That still doesn't answer my question: Will you fix Funguloids or drop it? Because the current situation where a broken version is placed in the repository is wrong.

Can you help with this problem?
