What does "Reboot into file system check" imply?

Asked by AJenbo

Hi, I'm translating this in to danish but I am not sure in what context "Reboot into file system check" should be seen.

Is it "please reboot the system to run a disk scanning" or "Do you want to reboot and automaticaly start a disk scannig?" or some thing else?

I interpret it as "Reboot and check/repair the file system's integrity on the startup".
