FreeMind 0.9.0 into repositories?

Asked by VladimirCZ

Do you plan to update the FreeMind package in the Multiverse repository to the 0.9.0 ?
This version is already available as RC1 but only 0.7.x version is in the multiverse repository of Ubuntu.

Notes:

1) I am using 0.9.0.x versions under Ubuntu for about 6 months without problems,
except for that some operations are slower comparing to when run under Windows.

2) This applies to the following way of installation:
- download a multiplatform package suitable for USB flash disks
- unpack the package into a subfolder in my /home/vladimir
- make the script freemind.sh executable
that is all.

There is already Bug 182927 reported to request updated packages for FreeMind. There are experimental packages listed there. You can subscribe to this Bug to get notified of updates to the discussion.
