I cant install Flash player

when i go to download adobe flash player i cant because 1) i dont know which file to pick. and 2) if i pick one it says that its the wrong file, so i go to another one .deb and download it but i get this error message "ERROR: Wrong architecture 'i386'.So i dont no what the problem is. So could someone help me.Thanks in advance.

Well, wrong architecture means that you need amd64. Did you install 64bit Ubuntu? Then you need a 64bit flash player, check out this thread:

Could be easier for you to symply type

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
