In a terminal, type:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

You will be asked for your password. This will install mozilla's plugin for Flash, and you'll be able to see youtube videos. In addition, to install different players plugins you can use the following:

For VLC plug-in (automatically installs VLC also):

sudo apt-get install mozilla-plugin-vlc

For MPlayer plug-in (automatically installs MPlayer also):

sudo apt-get install mozilla-mplayer

For Real player plug-in (automatically installs helix-player):

sudo apt-get install mozilla-helix-playerFor VLC plug-in (automatically installs VLC also):

sudo apt-get install mozilla-mplayer

sudo apt-get install mozilla-imagezoom

For adblock plug-in (to block ads in a web page):

You will probably encounter Bug 173890. See http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=636397 for more info.
