Just go to the "Software Center" (via Applications) and search for "Flash. Then hit install and it will be installed.

Generally speaking, you should install software using the package management facilities built into Ubuntu, such as the Ubuntu Software Center and the Synaptic Package Manager (or, if you prefer, the command-line tools, such as apt-get). If you download software to install it, then the way you install it depends on the details of the software. If you have problems with applications other than Adobe Flash, please post a new (separate) question about that. We'll use this question to deal with your specific problem getting Adobe Flash installed.

To install Adobe Flash, go to the Ubuntu Software Center, type "flashplugin-installer" (without the quotes) in the text box at the upper-right corner of the screen, and a single search result will come up, called "Adobe Flash plugin". Click on that, and click Install.

After it's installed, if you have any web browser windows open, you must close them all, and then go back into your browser, to make it work.

If that doesn't work, please reply in detail about what happened, and I'll provide further assistance.

Can you help with this problem?
