Package flashplayer 10.2rc2 in Ubuntu 11.04 alfa?

Asked by Anders Häggström

Hello,

I would like Ubuntu to be "bleeding edge" during alfa-stages and stabilize during beta/rc-stages. Adobe flash player are already in rc-stage and hopefully (my wishes) to be released as stable "10.2" before Ubuntu 11.04 will be released.

The software have some interesting feautures, for example vdpau (and hopefully vaapi) hardware decoding for video.

Is it possible for you to upgrade the package "flashplugin-installer" in Ubuntu 11.04 from "10.1.102.65ubuntu2" to "10.2-rc2" (and later to "10.2")?

Regards
Anders

Adobe have now released the flash player (10.2) as stable for x86 (still in beta-stage for amd64), and the package seems to have been updated in Ubuntu.
