Root on a btrfs subvolume

Asked by Elia Argentieri

Hi, I'd like to know how to use a btrfs subvolume as my root partition. I'm running Debian testing and flash-kernel doesn't seem to add the correct subvol=@ to the root kernel parameter. In order to boot the system I have to keep @ as the default subvolume otherwise it stops at the iniramfs shell. Thanks in advance.

Debian isn't supported here. This is Ubuntu support only. You want the Debian forum which is here
http://forums.debian.net/

Thanks
