flann package

libflann up to date?

Would it be possible to update the version of libflann to 1.8.4?
1.7.1 is so out of date, I can't find any documentation for it beyond the include files, and when I try linking to it, it dumps core.
The 1.8.4 build is trivial on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

I suggest you report a bug. If the security and bug fixes are significant it will be updated sooner
