I need QuickTime 7.5.5 functionality for on line tutorials

Asked by Paul k.

I am trying to work with Lynda.com , to make use of their library of tutorials. They use QuickTime movies and require 7.5 or better.
When I access the site and login , all appears normal until I try to access a given program. The indication is that it is trying to load
but appears to lock up indicating "waiting for Lynda.c ....". At that point I am not able to logout, etc. ... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul

Go to add/remove software and search for the term... quicktime.

There you see you can add the codecs.

Restart your PC and enjoy.
