Unable to launch complete webpages

Asked by vijin

Hi,

I just recently installed Ubuntu Edgy and have noticed that Im unable to launch complete webpages using Firefox.
The pages dont get loaded fully and I also I'm unable to view the background image of any of the webpage. Im not sure
if I have to turn on any optio in the browser. I have made sure all the necessary options are enabled.

All the suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance...

It could be because of your connection. Have you tried other browsers? Like Epiphany
sudo aptitude install epiphany-browser

Did you try deleting the firefox profile? (This will erase all your bookmarks, settings, cookies, etc). At your home folder:
rm -rf .mozilla
