firefox screen has extra section on bottom

After a power outage my firefox looks like this:

A new profile fixes this but I wanted to fix my profile. The only other thing was the googlebar was not working. I uninstalled the googlebar and installed the current one from google but the profile is still corrupt. Is there a way to clean the profile and fix this extra box on the bottom of the screen?

After further research I found the Googlebar that corrupted was Mozilla's 0.9 not Googles. I reinstalled the 0.9 Googlebar and the problem was repaired.
