Which Ubuntu release are you using? Which version of Firefox?
Is this only for a specific web page or for any website that you try to open?

Release 10.04 LTS "lucid"
Firefox Version 3.6.3

..for any website I try to open.

I also have another OS on the same laptop and the same error message appears there too.

Support for Ubuntu 10.04 has ended almost ten years ago, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

The programs are outdated.
Current version of firefox is 104, and the version 3.6 that you are running does not contain sufficiently secure cryptographic capabilities, which most servers nowadays demand for communicating.

An upgrade to a supported Ubuntu release will solve the problem.

What is that "other operating" system on the laptop?

It's open Suse 13.1, I think.

I know almost nothing about OpenSuse, but as far as I see with a web search, this release is also not supported any more (for five years now).

You need to switch to a current operating system. I assume that a new installation is easier and faster than an attempt to do an in-place upgrade.

Can you help with this problem?
