WebGL Driver Renderer WebGL creation failed

Asked by Johnny Baloney

WebGL does not work on the current version of Firefox 100.0.2+build1-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 on my system.

about:support page shows:

WebGL 1 Driver Renderer WebGL creation failed:
* WebglAllowWindowsNativeGl:false restricts context creation on this system. ()
* Exhausted GL driver options. (FEATURE_FAILURE_WEBGL_EXHAUSTED_DRIVERS)
WebGL 2 Driver Renderer WebGL creation failed:
* AllowWebgl2:false restricts context creation on this system. ()

However, if I use the same version directly from Mozilla (https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/100.0.2/linux-x86_64/en-GB/) WebGL works fine.

WebGL 1 Driver Renderer NVIDIA Corporation -- NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030/PCIe/SSE2
WebGL 2 Driver Renderer NVIDIA Corporation -- NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030/PCIe/SSE2

Please ignore it. I've just tried with a new profile and it worked.
