SSL problem with Firefox

Asked by John de La Fontaine

For certain sites I continually get a "ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap" error code. I tried answers from a google search but I do not see an options selection in Firefox (tools or systems settings). I also tried upgrading but was unable to do so. I am logged in as administrator.

Yes, you are correct. It is version 11.04. I have ordered a book with a CD of a much newer version so I think that will get me going better.

Ubuntu 11.04 is no longer supported in any way. It is end of life. I suggest you wipe the install off and do a clean install of Focal (Ubuntu 20.04). Focal is LTS and supported until April 2025. You can restore your user data from your backups. Your. OS is 9 years old..... What did you expect!??

Can you help with this problem?
