Mozilla profile in Ubuntu Focal Fossa

After Ubuntu upgrade to Focal Fossa mozilla doesn't start with old profile but instead creates new ones, though version is the same: 77.0.1 (64bit).

Is there a workaround or bugfix?

I suggest you report a bug. Focal isn't even in alpha yet. The release isn't ready and not stable.

You can start the process by running:

ubuntu-bug firefox

If you can manage bug issues and want to report bugs to get the release ready for April next year then by all means use Focal. If you want an OS that works as expected then I suggest you wipe the install off and do a clean install of Bionic.
