ealthuis - hello

Can you verify that you have internet connectivity on the subject machine ?
what returns:
systemd-resolve mozilla.com

Chrome works just fine, as I am using it to access this question:

ea@discovery:~$ systemd-resolve mozilla.com
mozilla.com: 63.245.208.194 -- link: enp2s0

-- Information acquired via protocol DNS in 30.6ms.
-- Data is authenticated: no
ea@discovery:~$

Also system updates are Ok

ealthuis - Hummm ...

Have you tried moving your ~/.mozilla directory with all your user settings out of the way to see if it helps?

-maybe yes-

Yes, that works but I loose all settings. I will see if I can copy a ~/.mozilla from another computer.
 That did not work.

I will go from here, thanks for your help
