What do you mean by blocked sites? as far as im aware ubuntu doesnt have any site blocking or unblocking software unless browsers come with it like in windows IE does.

I'm also not sure what is meant by unblocking. There is an add on called "Adblock Plus" and i guess a few other ones that could have been installed? To sort out the preferences in Adblock Plus try the "Tools" menu and it should be about 3rd item from the bottom. For other one then maybe

Tools - Add-ons

and then just hunt for the nme and hopefully it will have a preferences button in there for you to use. If you could let us know the name of your adware-blocker then we might be able to help better.

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

If your ISP has blocked a site there is a main way of un-blocking it - asking them, other ways which dont have their consent could get you in trouble

Hi :)

Have you been able to test the new Ubuntu 10.04 before it gets officially released?
http://www.ubuntulinux.org/testing/lucid/beta1
Trying it as a LiveCd or as an extra dual/multi-boot would be ideal. Developers and everyone are keen to try to iron out any problems before 10.04 gets officially released so you might find faster & more effective answers to your bug reports which would make 10.04 work better on your system for you

Thanks and regards from
Tom :)

Can you help with this problem?
