Installed Firefox 57 but hate it, can I get old version back?

Asked by dustbindiva

I didnt know I was installing a new version of Firefox when I chose to update, and I have lost all my add-ons and dont like the new look. I tried Mozilla Help but cannot find out how to restore my previous add-ons. Can I get an older Firefox version back? Or how do I customize my scroll bars, put put tabs on the bottom, make round tabs and other stuff? I cant find this in Firefox Help.

sudo apt-get --purge remove firefox
sudo apt-get --purge autoremove
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox=45.0.2+build1-0ubuntu1

You may want to use apt-pinning so the package does not update to the newer version with updates
