computer does not update Firefox using Linus 17

Any type of update is not allowed at all, and it's hurting my ability to use and enjoy my computer. I am getting to the point of just getting rid of my entire computer and buying a new one. It's very hard to do a thing, Youtube can not use it at all and Gmail is not very enjoyable. I hate my computer. Can you tell me how to overcome my problems with Firefox updates. ANY RESPONSE WILL BE GREATLY LOOKED UPON.

What happens if you connect to the Internet and input into a Terminal:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt full-upgrade
