download from mircosoft

I need to download from Microsoft web page, but it wont let me, not sure if it is because they can tell if I'm use firefox or Ubuntu.
Is there a way to do so without booting into XP, as I prefer Ubuntu! naturally!!

I have no such problem on ubuntu and kubuntu so I think you have more likely
some other issue.
Can You please give the exact message error you get when trying to access
the microsoft page?
Also, please provide the URL for this page.

Try the User Agent Switcher, a Firefox add-on

Thank you both for answering
 I installed User Agent Switcher but no go, I followed the how to after I Installed it (go to Tools, then User Agent Switcher, & select Internet Explorer)
but it not there nor in preferences of User Agent Switching. what did I do wrong?

Click on get exception and when the security certificate is recognised click Confirm security exception
