Reorganize searchbar

Asked by LuiseLN

I would like to re-order the icons in my searchbar, e.g. having Wikipedia on top. I know this is possible with the Iceweasel version, so I have been looking for a way to do this with firefox (1.5) too. Since it's not possible to change the order directly, I looked for the files. In my home folder (~/mozilla/) I could not find my downloaded search-engines. Where are these stored, and does it change the order they appear in the searchbar if I change the order of the files (e.g. renaming them "1wikipedia", "2google") ?
Thank you for you help,
Luise

In firefox 2.0 I am able to click on the search engine in the search bar and click manage search engines. Then there is a dialog where you can move them up and down. I don't know if this works in firefox 1.5, you might need to upgrade...

Can you help with this problem?
