Please Compare firefox with other browsers. I am used to firefox but it is claimed that it is slower.

Only you will know, which browsers, will be best for you. I am irritated at Firefox, because there is no way ( Firefox support ) to stop a pop up, to make it default. I installed four other browsers. Each has IMHO faults and pluses. With five browsers, I choose which to use, each time, according to it's character. If it is slow, fast - how it plays You Tube, Etc. You said Firefox is claimed to be slower. Slower than what. Install that browser, and see for your self.
