how do I update firefox?

I need to update Firefox. Several sites send update to click on but when I do nothing happens. I also keep getting messages to update my browser. How can I fix these problems?

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy firefox

Copy the command and press CTRL + ALT + T

Paste the command to the terminal and hit ENTER
