printer problems

I'm very new using linux, and I want to be able to print from my linux machine to the printer connected in my windows base computer

I already have the network set up. I just can't map to the printer from ubuntu

Go to System -> Administration -> Printing, double click new printer, choose network printer - Windows printer, choose the name of the windows machine with the printer at "Host", choose the printer at "Printer", give user name and password and click next. Then choose the printer model, click apply and you should be ready to print.

My network printer is saying that it has been paused and it won't let me resume. I have tried to add it again as a new printer and it is saying I need to contact you.
