Thanks for the help, but when I try too write in terminal, it says it can't find the file, sorry I have too try again. firefox works very well in Ubuntu 6.04 badger.

When firefox loads certain web pages only the left side of the browser page is used...how do I fix this..or can I. Yes I'm a newby

Probably because those web pages are not optimized for Firefox (that is, for IE users only).
