connection error

i m using ubuntu hardy heron
i cant connect internet, sometimes it s connection without anything but when i restart or every start it s not connecting, what should i do ? i dont have problem about my connection protocol, i can connect to msn servers, can use instant messaging just cant connect to web pages
i tried other browsers too but they r not working too

If you say that you can use MSN then you are connected to the Internet.

How are you connected to the internet? Though a router ? Did you setup a static IP on your pc or are you using DHCP (default) ?
What OS where you using on this computer before and how was is configured ?
Providing more information should help troubleshoot your problem.

Also I think this might be a dns problem. Did you try to access a website using it's IP instead of it's URL ?
(For exemple try http://91.189.94.249 instead of www.ubuntu.com)

If it's a dsn problem you might want to look at your router setup.
You can also manually enter the DNS server(s) you want to use in the Network settings.
