how to connecte my HCL phone on ubuntu 7.4 Desktop ???

i what to connect my new hct touch phone to synchronize , can be done on ubuntu desktop and another problem is i am not able to play my MP3, WMP, DVX, AVI, MPEG4 and 3gp file on ubuntu..

can pls. help on my this problem....

When you connect your htc phone do you see an additional drive in 'Computer'?

and it looks like htc touch phones are not supported fully in ubuntu
