Where is Firefox 38.0.1 ?!
Can anyone tell me what the delay is for version 38.0.1 in Trusty? It's been over 2 weeks now and I am suffering from one of the listed fixed bugs. I don't want to and shouldn't have to go "manual" to get it, and I'd like to keep using Firefox. Thanks.

I suggest that you create a bug report.
If you need a quick workaround, you could try installing a newer version from a PPA, e.g. 39.0~xxx from https:/
Thanks Manfred. Bug created. To be honest, it's most unlike Ubuntu, but there you go...
It will come. Firefox is one of the apps that is being kept bang up to date.

Looking at Chris Coulson's comment in Bug #1461113 it seems that the 38.0.1 update will not make it into the standard Ubuntu repositories. I assume that you have to wait for the 39.* release, or (at least temporarily) use a PPA or manual build.
OK, understood.
Can you help with this problem?
