speed up internet

I think you are behind a proxy and there is some kind of traffic shape may be related to a student subnet.

I think you cannot bypass this...

accessing sites through a firewall you must bypass firewall via ssh and do a dirty trick which is a crime here in india..

For proxy browsing you can use https://kproxy.com

for speeding up internet you can use OpenDNS:

https://www.opendns.com/start/ubuntu.php

I HAVE USED kproxy but many time it says that server overloaded

Try go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/ --> Then scroll down to online chat → click Chatzilla → click install now → then go back to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/ → click #firefox → try ask you qustion there.

I get around at my high school blocks by go to Myspaceatschool.com then on the list go to the 4th one down or click the green one if that does work try all of them until you find on that works.

found it like a week ago.
