Evolution has stopped opening

Asked by Mary Matthews

I have only just (yesterday) installed Ubutu. I was using my e-mail OK earlier today, installing contacts in my address book, clearing old mails etc, but now Evolution won't open at all. I can still access e-mail via the web mail page of blueyonder. HELP!!

Try opening from a terminal like this to see if you get any error messages:-

Applications --> Accessories --> Terminal, then type "evolution" (without the quotes) and press enter. See if Evolution starts, if it doesn't it might report an error in the terminal which you could copy/paste here for us to study.

Seems odd to me, I'll keep your tip in reserve.
