Problem Loading Intel Driver for 910GML Chipset

I downloaded the Linux driver for the Intel 910GML chipset, but I do not know how to install it.

What's format of downloaded file (e.g. .deb, .tar.gz, .run...)? Where did you download it from?

I was able to fix my screen resolution. Unfortunately, it took quite a bit of trial and error, so I did not document it.
