google toolbar automatic language setting

whenever I search something using search toolbar in the navigation toolbar using google it automatically sets language to my native language (hindi). But the words used in it are very old even I cannot understand it even the translation is also very bad.It is annoying. I can easily understand English.This problem doesn't occurs in windows with same firefox browser.
How can I the settings so that the language remains English?

go to http://www.google.co.in/preferences

Try changing the Interface(search) Language to english..

Click on SAVE PREFERENCES.

NOTE: When you SAVE PREFERENCES, you are saving them only for the
computer and browser you are using.
