Unable to type a Title for a New Post

I am trying to start a new thread in Ubuntu Forums - General Help. When I try to type in a Title for the post nothing happens, nor can I type against Subject when trying to fill in a Contact Us request for help.
Running Ubuntu 12.04, all working OK until I used fslint to search for duplicates - perhaps something critical got deleted.
What should I do to sort things out please?

Only tried on Firefox, which I always use.

well, don't you think youo should try another browser to see if its affecting that too....explore the issue a little.
