You can sync the bookmarks to the web, no need for USB storage. If you take a copy of ~/.mozilla to the USB you can easily restore settings by copying the data back.

You could even make a symlink from ~/.mozilla to the USB and use that as the storage for your Firefox stuffs.

There may also be an addon for Firefox. I'd go with the web sync. It;s much sleeker.

You can save all your bookmarks in the cloud. Ubuntu offers you 5GB for
free.

Check it out : https://one.ubuntu.com/

Login with your Launchpad account (SSO).

Also you can use Firefox sync method :

If you just want to backup your bookmarks

In firefox select "Bookmarks" > "Show All Bookmarks" from the menu

In the window that opens you can select "Import and Backup" to copy them to a USB stick. You can restore similarly to another PC.

If you want to keep a copy of a given web page for later reference from the menu "File" > "Save Page As" then select Web page complete and save.

Can you help with this problem?
