Problems Ubuntu 12.10

I have just installed the new Ubuntu 12.10. But i am encountering one problem. The problem is with reference to the sudden system hang/ freeze that i am encountering after i close either my chromium or firefox browser. Please suggest ways to resolve this problem.

Yes, it is ok if i am a fresh user.

Then you know it is the old user settings causing the issues and not the apps themselves. This is one of the reasons I persoanlly always do a clean install of new releases.
