Uploading Pictures

Asked by Margaret Mackintosh

I list items on eBay and this morning I cannot upload any pictures from my laptop to eBay. I have contacted eBay about the problem. They tried all they could think of to help me out. But, didn't help. Could it be Ubuntu giving me the problem with uploading pictures? I really need to do this as it gives a little extra over Social Security.. I just updated the system this morning hoping this would take care of the problem but did not. I was able to upload pictures t Any suggestionsill 10 PM last night, but cannot this morning. Any suggestions?

Sorry about the next to last sentence. That was supposed to read "I was able to upload pictures till 10 PM last night, but cannot this morning." Any suggestions?

hi this isn't a launchpad or Ubuntu question, perhaps there is an issue with your ISP and uploading.

If that is the case, I have not a clue to how to check it out. Not a computer whiz. Just know how to browse, email and that kind of stuff. Technical stuff is over my head.

Save the photo where you can find it. Send an email to Ebay and attach the photo to the email.

That would not do a thing. It is not just one photo and not to eBay but for a listing on eBay. Thanks anyway.

Hi all,

I had Firefox 16. something as my web browser. I just removed all of it. Then by using Ubuntu Software Center I installed what I thought would be an updated version of Firefox. Did the install and I now have Firefox 11. something. So since they went back the newer versions must have something wrong with them. Anyway, I am very happy to say this took care of all the problems and I now can upload pictures to ebay and anyplace else. So thanks Terry for all your help. It was very appreciated.
