military-can't download Java jre1.5

I must use the Common access card(CAC) when digital signing docs.

I am no pc guru with ubuntu,can someone walk me thru how downloading Java jre1.5?

I must download jre 1.5+ inorder to access Dbsign DTS with the military.

If not ubuntu is history on my pc.........

I can give a PPA for Oracle java 1.7 if you want.....
