Re: Netflix movie feed on Ubuntu Operating System

Asked by Susan Nagy

Good evening,

I have recently downloaded on my computer the Ubuntu software. I'm quite pleased with the system so far. I have an existing account with Netflix on my Windows 7, but now I'm unalble to watch the movie. Can you help me in solving the problem. I would like a response via email at <email address hidden>. Thank you advance for your help.

Respectfully,

Susan Nagy

Netflix doesn't work and they have no interest in Linux so far. The only way to run it is to virtualize Windows then run netflix there.

The problem is Digital Rights Managment (DRM) Under windows Netflix uses Silverlight which has DRM. If your PC is powerful enough and you have a spare windows licence take a look at virtual box

Otherwise sorry Netflix wont work

Can you help with this problem?
