help! i dont know how to delete internet history!!

i have been trying to delete some history for weeks and i am still stuck! when i click in the arrow to the right of the top search bar and scroll down to the history i want to delete, i dont know what to do from there to get rid of it! help me please!!

Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and you can do it there. Helps if you name the browser too.
