how do we get charts to work in google finance?

I go to google finance type in a stock symbol and everything excpt the chart showes up. Sometimes it says "missing plugin".

Its flash based. Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'

sudo apt-get --purge remove flashplugin-installer gnash gnash-common
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

Close all browsers then rerun
