How to customize firefox in Ubuntu 12.04?

In other operating system (Windows) Firefox allows user to customize their settings like : download locations, new tab options.

But, in Ubuntu 12.04 not able to find such settings.
Can anyone guide me with the same?

just click edit then preferences. It should be the same as windows from there :)
